Transactworld is a brand of Transactworld Limited, which is a part of Transactworld Group, Founded by Mumbai-based entrepreneurs Anupam and Amoolya Vassa, Transactworld Group is the culmination of a legacy that began in 1940 with the Vassa family’s industrial hardware business. With a forward-looking vision, the brothers transitioned into IT services in 2004—offering domain registration, web hosting and software solutions—laying the technological foundation for their next big leap.

By 2010, they had built a state-of-the-art, PCI DSS-compliant data center in Mumbai, setting the stage for a robust, secure digital payments ecosystem. In 2011, Transactworld launched its own Payment Gateway, supporting businesses with seamless, high-quality online transaction solutions across the globe.

Expanding internationally, the company established operations in Hong Kong, Cyprus, Malta, India, Nigeria, Lithuania and Mauritius—culminating in the formation of Transactworld Limited in 2014 in the UK. The company received the prestigious e-Money License from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), empowering it to issue electronic money, offer remittance services and execute secure digital transactions across Europe.
